Websites for small businesses in Sevenoaks and across Kent: built once, handed over, yours to keep. Booking, ordering and search foundations included. From £175.
Most small-business websites are rented. The agency holds the domain, the code sits on their platform, and the monthly fee is what keeps the lights on. Stop paying and the site goes dark. That arrangement suits the agency, not the business.
I build the site once and hand it over. You own the code, the content and the domain, and no retainer is required to keep it live. If you ever want someone else to work on it, you take it with you.
There is no account manager here. Conversion Forge is one person, me, Tk, working from Sevenoaks in Kent. The person you email is the person who builds the site.
The search foundations are not an upgrade. They ship with the site the day it goes live, because a site nobody can find is a brochure in a drawer.
Every site carries a sitemap.xml, a robots.txt that names all 15 AI and search crawlers by name, and llms.txt plus llms-full.txt so an AI assistant asked about your business can read the facts straight from you. Every page carries JSON-LD schema: the business, the breadcrumbs, and the questions and answers where a page has them. Open Graph and Twitter cards are set so a shared link shows a proper card. Canonical tags are set so the right page gets the credit.
Images carry their dimensions, which is a small thing that stops them vanishing on iPhones. Legal pages are included. The build is mobile-first, because that is where most of your visitors are.
Before any site goes live it passes a 20-check ship gate. I wrote that gate from real client incidents, one check per thing that once went wrong, so the same mistake cannot ship twice.
Chaplins Barbers, 41 Dartford Road, Sevenoaks. Their site says established 1889, which is the year Charles Chaplin was born, and voted best barber in Sevenoaks. Skin fades, scissor cuts and hot towel shaves, with bookings by WhatsApp. Live at chaplinsofsevenoaks.co.uk, a single-fee engagement, handed over.
Jerkeez 876, 73 London Road, Sevenoaks. Jamaican and Caribbean food with the menu online and pre-order for collection. Live at jerkeez.co.uk. The 876 is Jamaica's dialling code, which I noticed before I wrote a word of their copy.
Pilates Realm, Toronto. Private, duet and online Pilates with a STOTT PILATES certified instructor. Migrated off a website builder onto a domain she owns, with a booking flow, and delivered entirely remotely. Live at pilatesrealm.com.
Warriorz Performing Arts Academy, Stevenage. A site built on the academy's real 28-class timetable and its own photographs. Live at warriorzperformingartsacademy.co.uk.
Joshfit Personal Training, Great Yarmouth. Personal training, nutrition and online classes, established 2014. A site with a merchandise catalogue, the domain moved into the client's own hands. Live at joshfitpt.co.uk.
Shepherd-Prince, kitchen and bathroom fitting in Kent. A brand kit and a page built from 29 photographs chosen from the 1,231 the client owned, delivered in the week the agreement promised.
You email hello@weareconversionforge.uk with what you do and where you are. If you have a site, I read it first. If you do not, I start from your Google listing, your reviews and whatever photographs you own.
I write the copy from your facts, build the pages, and put the foundations in place. Then the ship gate runs, all twenty checks, and anything that fails is fixed before you see it.
You get the files, the domain access and the logins. A website you own starts from £175 and is live in under 72 hours. Larger builds take longer, and I say so before we start.
I do not build large e-commerce platforms, and I do not build apps with logins. If that is what you need, I am not the right fit and I will tell you early rather than late.
What I build is fast, owned sites for businesses that need to be found and booked. A restaurant that wants pre-orders. A barber that wants WhatsApp bookings. A trade that wants its work seen at full size on a phone.
There is no monthly fee to keep your site live. Care plans exist for people who want someone on hand, and they are optional.
I live and work in Sevenoaks, Kent. Most of my clients are here and in the towns around it, and the ones further away, Stevenage, Great Yarmouth, Toronto, were delivered remotely without the work changing.
The free website audit is at conversionforge.co.uk/free-audit. It looks at your current site, your listing and your search presence, and it costs nothing.
Yes. The code, the content and the domain are yours, and no retainer is needed to keep the site live.
A website you own starts from £175 and is live in under 72 hours; larger builds get a timeline before we begin.
A sitemap, a robots file naming all 15 AI and search crawlers, llms.txt and llms-full.txt, JSON-LD schema on every page, social cards, canonical tags, images with dimensions and the legal pages.

You own the site, so you can edit it, ask me, or ask anyone else; care plans are there if you want me on hand, and they are optional.
Large e-commerce platforms and apps with logins; I build fast, owned sites for businesses that need to be found and booked.
A free audit, no pitch: whether people find you when they search, what is quietly costing you customers, and what to fix first.
