Be the answer when Sevenoaks searches. On Google, and now in ChatGPT.

Local SEO for Sevenoaks and Kent businesses: Google Business Profile, the local pack, schema, llms.txt and AI-search citation. Built to be found without paid ads.

Two search results now, not one

When someone in Sevenoaks looks for a barber, a grill or a Pilates instructor, the search happens in two places. One is the Google local pack, the map with three names under it. The other is an AI answer, in ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity, that names one or two businesses and moves on.

A site can be built to be cited by both. The same facts, laid out so a person can read them and a machine can read them too. That is the whole of what I do here, and it does not require paid ads.

The honest part first. Rankings take weeks to move, and nobody can promise you a position. What I promise is the work, the measurement, and a report you can check yourself in Search Console.

What I actually change on a site so it ranks locally

Locality goes into the titles and the headings, so a page about a Sevenoaks business says Sevenoaks where Google reads first. JSON-LD business schema carries the real address and the towns you serve. Breadcrumb schema tells a crawler where each page sits, and FAQ schema turns your real questions into results.

The sitemap gets true dates, not placeholders. The robots.txt names all 15 AI crawlers, so the assistants that answer questions are allowed to read you. Two files, llms.txt and llms-full.txt, give those assistants the plain facts about the business in your own words. Canonical tags settle which page gets the credit.

Reviews are the ones real customers wrote. I never fabricate a rating, and I will not add a star widget that the reviews do not support.

The Google Business Profile most businesses never finish

Most profiles were set up once, years ago, and left. The name is right and the phone number is right, and everything else is blank or stale.

The finished version has the right categories and the services listed one by one. It has the real photographs of the shop, the team and the work. It has weekly posts, so Google sees a business that is open. It has reviews from real customers, answered. And it carries the one link that matters most: the booking or ordering link, so a search becomes an appointment without a detour.

A Sevenoaks restaurant, 29 days, zero ad spend

7 Oaks Grill had strong word of mouth and no online presence. I built an Instagram content system and did the Google Business Profile work. In 29 days the account reached 28,000+ accounts and produced 71,583 views, with zero paid advertising.

Persa London, a Bromley studio making hand-painted leather, is the same idea on a marketplace. 25+ keyword-researched listing rewrites and 240 product variations on eBay took the shop to the top 5 percent of its UK category, with 61,515 impressions in 30 days and a 35.9 percent improvement in conversion rate.

Both numbers come from the platforms' own dashboards, not from me.

What takes weeks, and what I will not promise

Schema, sitemaps and crawler files take an afternoon and show up in Search Console within days. The profile work compounds over weeks. Rankings move when Google decides they move.

I will not promise a position, a date, or a number of leads. I will show you the Search Console data, the impressions, the clicks and the positions, and you can read it without me in the room.

How it starts

The free website audit is at conversionforge.co.uk/free-audit. I look at your site, your schema, your sitemap and your Google Business Profile, and I send you what is working and what is missing.

If you want the work done, you email hello@weareconversionforge.uk and we agree the scope. There is no account manager. There is me, and you will always know who did the work.

Questions people ask

Do I need a new website for this?

Usually not; most sites need the right structure and files added to what is already there, and I check yours before suggesting anything bigger.

How long before I see results?

The technical changes show in Search Console within days; ranking and profile changes take weeks, and I say which is which before we start.

Can you guarantee a top position?

No, and nobody honest can; I guarantee the work, the measurement and a report you can check yourself.

What is llms.txt?

A plain text file on your site that tells AI assistants what your business does, in your own words, so their answers quote you rather than guess.

I already have a Google Business Profile, is that enough?

It is the start; I check the categories, services, photographs, posts, reviews and the booking link, and finish what was left.
